The Pi Core Team has been developing a community KYC solution that will work for as many Pioneers as possible to ensure the security and humanness of our network. To improve its usability and machine automation components, we’ve released a pilot version that initially enrolls 100 Pioneers/country (most slots are filled but we will release more soon after review). These Pioneers can KYC early and help improve our algorithms before full release. Click read more for details.

所以今天中秋連假來寫一下更新
Hackathon Community Rating
The Pi Hackathon kickstarts the Pi community’s app development on our platform that will foster ecosystem-building efforts and potentially create real life utilities and infrastructures. The Core Team will be happy to consider community input when deciding winners/prizes, so make sure your voice is heard!
To start rating, go to Brainstorm and click “Rate Projects” to see a randomized list of finalist teams. After watching each team’s video presentation and testing their Pi app by pasting their app URLs in the Pi Browser, upvote or downvote the submissions based on your discretion. You can submit one upvote or downvote per project, but you cannot submit a vote for your own project.

Hackathon midpoint showcase coming up!

Hey Pioneers, the Pi Hackathon has received a variety of midpoint progress videos. On 8/26 and 9/2, we will showcase a few of them on the Pi Home screen. Note that these projects are not fully fledged apps yet. Their selection indicates not their likelihood of winning the Hackathon but rather displays our community’s potential and excitement in building Pi utilities and ecosystem. Stay tuned :)
